These terms apply to the ExeDock app and the website exedock.com, provided by JIAJI COMPANY LIMITED (Taiwan, tax ID 54255401; “we”). By downloading or using ExeDock you agree to these terms.
The service
ExeDock is a free game launcher for Mac. It recognizes Windows games you already own, sets up open-source compatibility environments (such as Wine), and offers compatibility modes, recommended settings and in-game text translation. ExeDock does not sell, provide or distribute any games.
Your games
- Use ExeDock only with games you have obtained lawfully, and follow each game’s license terms.
- ExeDock does not and may not be used to circumvent copyright protection or copy protection.
- Games belong to their respective developers and publishers.
Third-party components
- ExeDock downloads open-source components such as Wine, NW.js and DXVK from their official release sites; each is provided under its own license.
- D3DMetal belongs to Apple. You download it yourself from Apple’s developer website and accept Apple’s license; ExeDock only helps you import it and never downloads or distributes it for you.
Compatibility and saves
- ExeDock is provided “as is”. How well a Windows game runs on Mac depends on the game, the Mac model and the system version; we do not guarantee that any game will run.
- Recommended settings come from our and the community’s tests. They are guidance only and not official support from the game’s developer.
- Back up your saves regularly. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for lost game data or saves.
Translation
In-game text translation uses Apple’s built-in machine translation and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is for personal play only; translated output may not be distributed or used commercially.
Recommended games and store links
- Recommended games on the website and in the app may include store links, some of them affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Purchases, payments, refunds and support are handled by the store under its own terms.
Prohibited use
- Sending fake or bulk data to distort compatibility statistics, or attacking or abusing ExeDock’s servers and API.
- Using ExeDock in a way that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, ExeDock. Because ExeDock is free, any liability we may have is limited to NT$100, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy (exedock.com/en/privacy).
Trademarks
Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. ExeDock is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple, Microsoft or any game’s rights holders.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will announce significant changes on the website and in the app; continuing to use ExeDock after an update means you accept it. We may also change or discontinue all or part of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taiwan Taipei District Court has jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute arising from them.
